Gris Futuro’s long-awaited debut LP, Nowadaze, arrives November 7th, 2025 on à La Carte Records. The Mexico City–based minimal synth duo of Lithuanian vocalist Eglė Naujokaitytė and Mexican synthesist Rogelio Serrano (aka Equinoxious) craft a sound built from voltage and circuitry—modular racks, vintage drum machines, and analog synths—eschewing the sterile precision of software for something rawer and more alive. The result is a record that feels both timeless and forward-looking, steeped in the stark allure of early synth pioneers while carrying the pulse of contemporary underground electronics.

Across Nowadaze, Naujokaitytė’s multilingual lyrics (English, Spanish, Lithuanian, and French) explore hidden depths, subconscious fractures, and the fragile boundaries of self, while Serrano’s analog production sways between hypnotic austerity and kinetic rhythm. The album collects standout singles including the Lithuanian-language “Juodi Žirgai” and the frenetic “Hiperenfoque,” alongside new cuts “Shine (A Neon Light)” and “Mirror-Self,” expanding their vision of a world suspended between dystopia and desire. Imperfect, electric, and deeply human, Nowadaze captures the tension between past and present, machinery and touch—where minimal synth still sparks with restless possibility.
